What is a PTO? What is a PTA?
Both PTOs and PTAs are established to benefit the children within the school system. However, the primary difference between a PTO and a PTA is that a PTA is part of a larger state and national organization. As such, they are required to pay dues and abide by state and national group rules and in return they receive benefits from this organization such as having a political voice for all children. The dues collected by the state and national PTA organization are used at a much broader level and are not used specifically for the local school.
Pinnacle Peak Prep PTO is independent from a state and national organization so that all dollars collected from our fundraising efforts go directly into programs supported by Pinnacle Peak Preparatory School.
